Packaging Design for Ichibuns Restaurant

Handcrafted food packaging for the Soho burger and ramen restaurant

The Ichibuns packaging design project was part of the wider brand identity project we completed for the Japanese wagyu burger and ramen restaurant in Wardour Street, Soho.

Building on the unique identity we helped create and the stunning interior design concept proposed by Tokyo design studio Studio Glitt, we crafted bespoke packaging to carry the Ichibuns brand and dining experience.

Wagyu burgers and ramen soups are central to the indulgent menu and Tokyo rock ’n’ roll meets American diner concept. We created a box and bowl that hit the same energetic and upbeat tone but wouldn’t rock, rattle or spill their contents.

The Ichibuns logotype and emblem works best big and loud, so we pulled few punches across the whole suite of food and drinks packaging, incorporating drinks and dessert packaging. The result is added vibrancy for Ichibuns brand experience and further weight their claim as masters of luxury fast food dining.
